15 minutes from the station. From the town centre it is 10 minutes - 5 if you walk briskly. However it is an interesting walk so you might want to leave a little more time. Things you might want to check out are the Bridge over the River Eau that Napoleon walked over, the mountain railway trains that trundle through the town, the many fountains, Rue de Jerusalem with its wooden corridors over the street, the seasonal exhibition at the TIC, the Cloitre enclave just below the castle and the vineyards around and beyond the castle where you can see as far as Lake Geneva, Montreux and the Jura.
