This place is a treasure. Arbolitos beach and Siren Beach is worth the trip alone. Safe snorkeling and swimming— we made the drive in a crappy low ride rental, lost one hubcap, but worth it. Would b…Full review by Don R

We travelled to Cabo Pulmo over dirt roads. The signage was easy to follow and roads were in good condition. We found lovely soft white beaches with nice snorkeling conditions. Be prepared to brin…Full review by marcyWyoming

I would agree with the first answer. You will have a car if you are there, so go to the beaches South and I think there was a spot North. But there are good tours in boats which take you out to the reef, so might be worth going on one of those. It’s a very basic place, most accommodation is in bungalows either attached to aWatersports resort or individually rented. We stayed in a glorified grass roofed “but” but it was very comfortable with an adequate bathroom. Water and electricity is restricted because of the location.

You can contact Cabo Pulmo Sport Center. They have fishing trips that will take you outside of the park. The park itself is a protected marine preserve and those that live there help to keep up the rules. One of the closest fishing areas however is just a little bit south at the beach at Los Frailes.
Hello, Is it possible to snorkel from the beach to good locations, or is it worth it to pay $60 - $75 per person for a guided snorkel tour on a boat? 2 of us are going scuba diving, and 2 just want to snorkel. They have their own mask, fins, and snorkels, so it would save a lot to just go from the beach. However, they are not very strong swimmers, and wouldn't want to go too far or deep either. Thanks!

If you have a vehicle there is great snorkeling at Arbolito beach 3 or 4 kilometers south of Cabo Pulmo. 40 pesos per person to access the beach, showers, bathrooms (rustic). Tours available but not necessary. We have also snorkeled from beach at Los Frailes 5 or 6 km. south of Cabo Pulmo but like Arbolito better. Easier in and out of surf.
