Hi. Central Park is about six acres! You could easily spend a day here! There are several play grounds , there is a wonderful little zoo, and many other attractions and things to do within the park! Bring a pic nic lunch and make a day of it if you are going to visit in Warmer climate! There are wonderful bridges and tunnels, strawberry hill , fountains, and so much more!

Ruth, In December in NewYork the average temperature is in the 40’s and 30’s so you would be freezing! I suggest you visit one of the many fabulous indoor sites. Like the Natural History museum or the Metropolitan Museum of Art or the Empire State Building or the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall. Buy a hat, scarf and gloves and enjoy every minute!
