Is it possible to see the site if it is after 5 pm? I realize the museum would be closed. Thank you.
A:
No, the gate would be closed and access restricted. During business hours you drive a little ways in to get to the visitors center and site. It’s worth seeing. Hope you can make it in.

Most Definitely. They had open space for all kinds of motor homes, knowing many snowbirds would travel to this location

I would give it at least 3 hours. There is so much to take in and the emotion of the place is overwhelming at times. Also the whole site of the memorial is very large and spread out. …

I would give it at least 3 hours. There is so much to take in and the emotion of the place is overwhelming at times. Also the whole site of the memorial is very large and spread out. There are things to read in all three sites. It so worth it. Spend all day if you can.

We stayed in the "Days Inn" 220 Waterworks Ln,Somerset. Reasonable price,clean,friendly,offer discount to local restaurant. Had dinner at the "PINE GRILL,at he suggestion of the Motel clerk and was more than satisfied with quality and quantity.(800 N. Center Av) Exit #110 off the PA Turnpike. I am from Delaware ,not a local. ALSO there is NO FEE to visit the Memorial
