We will be arriving at about 11 and will want to eat at about 12:30. Is it easy to get back to the cafe or picnic area if you’re about half way round? And assuming that the only toilets are by the entrance, is it easy to get back to the toilets too? One of our party is less mobile. If there are areas she can’t get round, is it easy to meet up again? Are there maps etc where pre-arranged meeting points can be found?

It's actually quite difficult to answer your specific questions. The place is maze-like in some areas and I don't think there is a 'map' - not that I found anyway. I did end up going back on myself sometimes, so a good sense of direction is helpful. If you have concerns I think it would be best to contact the FC staff directly.
