Dr. Harris received diverse preparation in his early medical training, having been an immunology research technician as well as a supervising medical technologist in a flow cytometry lab at Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY. He served as Chief Fellow, Hematology/Oncology at the University of Florida, Department of Medicine and was twice awarded the Gold Key Customer Service Award by Shands Hospital (2009 and 2014), as well as the Teaching Excellence Award by the University of Florida in 2010. Dr. Harris has a keen interest in clinical research.
