This was quite a hike up the hill on foot, but the view of Florence is unbeatable. There is no charge. When I was there, vendors were selling the usual stuff and some had artisan goods.Full review by whitedoyle

I am sorry to say I have never counted them. From Ponte Vecchio, 1.1 miles to the Piazza de Michelangelo.
