@Ninad B, I can confirm since my husband and I took the bus from Madrid to Carboneras and then caught a Taxi there and back for $12 each way. Make sure you arrange for the taxi to come pick you up at Playa de los muertos or get their phone number because there are not taxi's wwaiting to pick you up so you might get stranded otherwise!
