Cool house and architecture way head of its time! We enjoyed the narration of the history by the local tour guide. It’s about an hour long and you can spend more time outdoor visiting the other manor.Full review by Martina C

Toured the Pope-Leighy Frank Lloyd Wright designed house. The tour guide, Mike, was extremely knowledgeable and so so very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend this tour.Full review by Frank L

The history of Woodlawn is fascinating and the Frank Lloyd Wright house is a gem. Both houses had very good, well informed, enthusiastic guides. Well worth a visit. And o ly a short drive or taxi rid…Full review by martinlH2770EP
Hi -- how to get to Woodlawn Plantation/Pope-Leighy on public transportation? If there is a bus route how far is the closest stop? Is there direct public transportation between WL Plantation and the Mount Vernon estate? Thanks.

We drove, but if you look at the Woodlawn & Pope-Leighey website you will see bus directions. There is no shuttle from Mt Vernon to Woodlawn because they are separately owned …
