This museum is the perfect size for a one day visit. Not too big and not too small. Astounding permanent exhibits and fascinating temporary exhibits. Only a 5 minute walk to the other two major mu… Full review by bruceklein

As the 3rd and 4th floors were closed (not disclosed on their website), I focused on the entry floor of contemporary art and the second floor. The second floor has Guernica and quite a bit of lesser… Full review by RFJ

We are senior citizens tourists and we're going to be visiting Reina Sofia around 11:00am on Saturday, January 27. Should we purchase skip the line tickets in advance? If yes, please advise of how to do that.

I wouldn't, it'll not be that busy ,hope this helps from Neil
Free senior tickets available on site vs paying in advance We're going to be visiting the Reina Sofía around opening time (10am) on Sunday, Oct. 13. Oct. 12 is a national holiday, and I've heard that Madrid is likely to be more crowded that day with visitors. The free over-65 tickets are only available on site, which means, presumably, standing in line for them. We can, of course, also purchase the €8 online tickets and skip the line. Given the time we're visiting, I'm wondering if we wouldn't be better off paying for the tickets rather than standing in line for a while to save €16. Thoughts?

Hello. We're planning on visiting during the free hours, and I know we need to queue up early. My question is, is there anything I need to book online in advance (like the Picasso museum in Barcelona)? Thanks!

Hi. Actually you don't need to book on line. Just check online which are the free days admission and be there some time in advance. Enjoy your visit
