Both are often limited to icy blue and green piste. Angel Fire has glades sometimes, whereas Apache doesn't expect anyone to ski in the trees and nothing is cleared. Both are good beginner hills, but Apache doesn't have anything particularly steep. Angel Fire has one or two steep runs if they have enough snow. Assuming you ski at level II+, if it snows in Ruidoso you go to Ski Apache. If it snows around Angel Fire, you go to Red River.
Q:
If Ski Apache says they are full for ski lessons is there any other option to get a private lesson for a child?
A:
Call Ski Apache for private lessons.
