Quick scenic river walks. Nice bridges. The walking bridge has metal grating over half of the path so one can see through it and view the water beneath. Full review by inchpebble

Even without the Senators there are still things to do. There is a playground for kids, a mini golf course, batting cages, an arcade, volley ball courts, a little "beach", and a walking trail. If you have time Riverfront park is just across the bridge and features stunning views of the river, also the Capitol complex is within walking distance and is worth a visit.
I am looking for information on renting a pavilion on City Island but can't find anything on this. How much, how do I rent one, which ones are for rent? Can anyone help me?

Will the train and carousel be open this Wednesday, Sept. 2?

I'm not positive, but there is a home Harrisburg Senators game that night. Usually the train is running on game nights. Not sure of the carousel schedule.
