Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard has decided to withdraw from Norway’s national team ahead of their UEFA Nations League matches this month.

Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard says he has “listened to my body” and returned to London after being ruled out of international duty for Norway. Odegaard started for the first time since August in Sunday’s 1-1 Premier League draw after being sidelined by an ankle injury.

Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard is travelling to join up with the Norway squad ahead of their games against Slovenia and Kazakhstan this week. Odegaard made his comeback for Arsenal last week after being sidelined since the start of September, when he injured his ankle playing for Norway.

Martin Ødegaard will not play in Norway's Nations League matches against Slovenia and Kazakhstan due to the ankle injury he suffered on Sept. 9.

Odegaard, who was injured while on international duty in September, only returned to action for Arsenal last week.
