The two hikers called the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department at 7:00 p.m. after becoming stranded on a steep ledge in the Huntington Ravine Trail, Fish and Game officials said.
Both people were instructed to shelter in place, as the trail was difficult and it would take multiple hours to reach them.
