When it comes to normally aspirated sports cars, the 2025 Porsche 911 GT3 might be as good as it gets. On the one hand that's cause for celebration, because the GT3 is very, very excellent. But there also lies the potential that this is as good as it gets in a very literal sense.

The 9000-rpm flat-six song continues, while the GT3 gets a surprising number of practicality improvements and lightweight options.

The current, 992-generation Porsche 911 family is in the midst of its ‘992.2’ mid-life update phase, which began with the hybrid  911 Carrera GTS and standard 911 Carrera. Soon enough the 911 Turbo will be getting its own glow-up.

This is our first experience behind the wheel of the newly updated, 992.2 generation 2025 Porsche 911 GT3 Touring. From launch, it’s available in two body styles: the familiar, winged 911 GT3 form, and the more understated 911 GT3 Touring style, with its cleaner body and deleted rear spoiler.
