Pregnant Princess Beatrice is stepping out for Christmas with King Charles despite Prince Andrew's absence amid fallout around his alleged connection to a Chinese "spy."

Princess Beatrice was pictured alongside her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, and young stepson as they walked to church with the rest of the Royal Family on Christmas morning. Prince Andrew 's eldest daughter, 36, is pregnant with their second child. She is due in the early spring.

Princess Beatrice will now be joining the royal family for the Christmas gathering at Sandringham — due to her pregnancy — instead of traveling to be with her in-laws in Italy for the holidays as originally scheduled,

Princess Beatrice is now expected to spend the holidays with the Windsor side of the family.

Each year on Christmas Day, the royal family makes a tradition of turning out in their Sunday best for their annual walk to services at the Church of St Mary Magdalene near their Sandringham estate in Norfolk. And among them this year was Princess Beatrice.

The 36-year-old royal — who is currently pregnant with her second child — was going to spend Christmas with her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, and his parents in Italy. However, multiple outlets reported Sunday that Beatrice canceled the overseas trip because of medical advise that she received.

On her doctor’s recommendation, she and her husband will spend the holiday at Sandringham, though Prince Andrew will not.
