At this year's Unpacked event, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S25 Edge, boasting a slimmer design compared to the other Galaxy S25 models. With a thin 6.4mm profile, it may reach 8.3mm in thickness around the camera module. The device is expected to launch around April and will join the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra in the lineup.

The Galaxy S24 FE that could be thought of as the Slim's predecessor is 8 mm thin, which isn't as thin as the 7.2mm Galaxy S25 that just debuted. One rumor suggests that the goal would be to approximate the Galaxy Z Fold 6, which is 5.6mm thin when unfolded, but another number being floated around is 6.4mm.

Samsung's slim phone isn't called what we expected. The Galaxy S25 Edge brings back the Edge branding from the dead but not in the way we expected.
