After a dramatic bull run following the election of Donald Trump last week, Tesla ( TSLA -6.11%) shares are finally cooling off today, pulling back in line with a broader sell-off as the S&P 500 is headed for its first decline since the election.

Of the 52 analysts covering TSLA stock surveyed by S&P Global Market Intelligence, 12 rate it at Strong Buy, six say Buy and 19 have it at Hold. Furthermore, four call TSLA a Sell and seven say it's a Strong Sell.

Tesla ( TSLA 9.06%) stock continued putting pedal to metal as stock markets reopened for business Monday. Through 12:20 p.m. ET, the electric car leader gained 7.3%, bringing total gains since Donald Trump won reelection (with Elon Musk's support) to a staggering 37%.
