Teller County woman who set her home ablaze caused Highlands Lake Fire, deputies say
Lacey Tillitt is accused of knowingly setting fire to her home on Oct. 28, 2024 before the flames spread to become the 166-acre Highlands Lake Fire in Teller County.

The Highland Lakes Fire burned in October of 2024 and over 700 homes were threatened as a result of the flames spreading due to high winds and dry conditions during the period.
Woman arrested on arson charge related to Highland Lakes Fire in Teller County
