The city school district is looking to raise property taxes by 22 percent, generating about 17 million dollars annually.

In less than a week, those in Tuscaloosa will vote on whether to increase your property taxes. That money will go to the school system. The district hosted another meeting Wednesday morning on why they say they need the increase.
