ALBANY, NY (WBNG) -- UAlbany’s head football coach, Greg Gattuso, is headed to Happy Valley, this according to WNYT’s Sports Director Rodger Wyland.

ALBANY — University at Albany football is in search of just the third head coach in the program’s varsity history. Greg Gattuso, who led the Great Danes for 11 seasons after succeeding Bob Ford — the only other coach the program has known since the program was reinstated at the club level in 1970 and launched into Division III three years later — is leaving to become a defensive line consultant at his alma mater,
