After 87 years as the Washington Redskins, the NFL team changed their name in 2020 to the Washington Football Team, and subsequently to the Washington Commanders. On Monday, President Donald Trump was asked if he would like the Commanders to reverse course and call themselves the Redskins again.

Fletcher played the final seven seasons of his 16-year career with Washington. During that time, he earned four trips to the Pro Bowl, was a two-time second-team All-Pro and is a member of the Commanders' Ring of Fame. Fletcher should be in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
