Oakland rap legend Too Short's older brother, Wayne Shaw, 61, was shot and killed Wednesday morning during an attempted robbery at a marijuana grow operation house in East Oakland.

Wayne Shaw, brother of legendary Bay Area artist Too Short, was killed Jan. 30 during an attempted robbery at an East Oakland cannabis dispensary. The businessman had deep connections to Oakland’s cultural landscape spanning four decades.

According to KTVU, Wayne Shaw, the 61-year-old older brother of rap legend Too Short, tragically was shot and killed.
