Zach McKinstry received an ovation at Comerica Park after being named an All-Star for the first time in his MLB career.

Major League Baseball announced during the first inning of the Tigers-Rays finale that Zach McKinstry was added to the American League roster for the game Tuesday in Atlanta. McKinstry, who finished third in the fan balloting at third base, joins starters Riley Greene, Javier Baez and Gleyber Torrez, along with pitcher Tarik Skubal.
