Straight up, I’ve seen Billy Madison at least 50 times since I was first introduced to Adam Sandler’s lovable man-child at a friend’s house in the second grade.

“Billy Madison” turns 20 this week, and it remains the most surprisingly resonant project I have ever directed. I can’t believe how much of an impact it has had over the years.
