But for the 2019-20 school year, the calendar law allows districts to have classes between Aug. 26 and June 12, compared to Aug. 28 to June 8 this school year.

According to the calendar, the first day of school for the upcoming school year is Aug. 19, 2019. The last day for students will be June 3, 2020. To view the calendar, click here .
