Clayton Kershaw began his first start in eight months on a strong note. It got a bit worst after that. The longtime Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher made his season debut on Saturday after missing nearly two months rehabbing from multiple surgeries.

The Los Angeles Dodgers activated left-handed pitcher Clayton Kershaw and optioned right-handed pitcher Ryan Loutos. In order to make room on the 40-man roster, the Dodgers placed left-handed pitcher Blake Snell on the 60-day injured list.

Clayton Kershaw is feeling "a lot of gratitude" ahead of a 2025 debut that's much more of a necessity than the luxury it once seemed for a Dodgers rotation that needs his help again.
