The Colt factory furnishes but one standard model of the S.A.A. now, in plain and fancy finish, though at one time they did furnish flat-top Bisley and S.A.A. models with target sights.

But there is no doubt that the one gun that has defined Colt for some 144 years is the Model 1873 Single Action Army (SAA) revolver, a.k.a Model P or Peacemaker.
