NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Dairy Farmers of America has confirmed to WSMV4 that Purity Dairy will discontinue its ice cream production. DFA reports that no jobs will be impacted by this move.

Up until this week's announcement, Purity manufactured its ice cream at the Dairy Farmers of America facility in Athens, where fellow DFA-owned brand Mayfield Dairy also produces its ice cream.
