With intermediate-level skills, you’ll be able to handle routine design tasks like working with 2D drawings, drafting basic floor plans, or designing simple mechanical parts.

These plans are much more detailed and specific than those produced by basic floor plan software. CAD drawings are much more costly and are only needed after the design has been finalized.
