Sundance Film Festival is officially underway with a wide variety of bold independent storytelling featured in the event's 86 feature-length films.

Moving a week later in the calendar this year, the Sundance Film Festival kicks off this Thursday and runs through February 2, offering a first glimpse at the year in cinema with (once again) a mix of in-person and virtual offerings.

More days and more ticket options are among the changes, along with a new name, a concert and the chance to watch the films online after the festival.
