Well, the Chinese loved the super-Golf that they decided not to wait. A local tuning company called ASPEC took matters into its own hands and at the 2015 Shanghai Auto Show unveiled the PPV400 model.

Aspec has not revealed what it did to the TSI, but don't be put off by the fact that these are just renderings. Their previous project was a Golf R that also pushed 400 hp.
