MotoGP apologises for displaying a distorted map of India during live-streaming of practice sessions of India's first MotoGP race.
Motorsport fans in India were outraged when MotoGP broadcasted a distorted map of India during the inaugural Bharat GP this weekend.
Ahead of the first MotoGP Free Practice 1 (FP1) session, fans spotted a distorted Indian map, which left out areas from Jammu and Kashmir from the outline of the country, on the global broadcast feed.
Instead, it generated anger among Indian fans at the very beginning after the MotoGP displayed the country’s map without Jammu and Kashmir on their live feed.
