Say what you will about Metallica, but when they’re not working on a new album or various members are busy starring in a Western thriller, they’re more often than not on the road. Earlier today, the band announced that they’ll once again be hitting the ol’ dusty trail with yet another leg of their ‘M72 World Tour’.

Parking at NRG Park is available in several lots, including the Blue, Red, and Orange Lots. The Blue Lot is recommended for events at NRG Stadium, while the Orange Lot is closer to NRG Stadium and NRG Center. Parking fees may apply, so it's best to check the official NRG Park website for the most up-to-date information. NRG Park hosts a variety of events, including live music concerts and sporting events. Some of the most popular artists and teams that have performed or played at NRG Park include Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Janet Jackson and is the home stadium for the Texans and also hosts the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Public transportation is recommended for those looking to avoid parking hassles. The METRORail Red Line conveniently stops near NRG Park at the Stadium Park/Astrodome Station. Additionally, several local bus routes serve the area, including routes 60 and 84. NRG Park has a bag policy in place for the safety and convenience of all attendees. Large bags, backpacks, and coolers are not permitted. Small bags, such as purses and clutches, are allowed but subject to inspection.
