Marvel Rivals' recently announced Spider-Man skin may have opened the door to a plethora of new exciting crossover and tie-in costumes.

Marvel Rivals players are being treated to an unlikely crossover that brings the Advanced Suit 2.0 from Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 into the game as a new skin. PlayStation announced the news itself in a post on X/Twitter,

A post about the crossover on the official Marvel Rivals Discord server states that the "Advanced Suit 2.0 blends Otto Octavius's science with Peter Parker's genius. Crafted for the toughest battles, it symbolizes Spider-Man's true grit as a hero."

This approach seems to be working out quite nicely, especially given the fact that Marvel Rivals has hit a new peak concurrent player count on Steam with the release of season 1.
