When Microsoft first showed off its new Office icons late last year, Access and Publisher were nowhere in sight. Luckily, one of the two apps is getting a new icon today, at least for Office Insiders.

Microsoft has revealed new filetype icons for files that can be opened with its Office apps. The new icons are meant to match the ones for the Office apps themselves, and they're rolling out now.

From this screen of icons, click the Microsoft Publisher icon. On this screen, you can choose your paper size. To see the calendar option, click more template .

Access and Publisher aren't featured among the new icons, because although Microsoft continues to distribute them, the applications are all functionally abandonware, in pure maintenance mode.
