Nine Network caps off a year of horror results for the media sector with a massive loss as the battle for ratings and relevance continues to ravage traditional outlets.

Channel Nine has dumped its affiliate partner WIN Corporation and signed a new deal with Southern Cross Austereo, who will broadcast its regional free-to-air content from July 1 this year.
