The Carmel express bus departs at 7:10 a.m. from the Meijer store, 1424 W. Carmel Dr. The bus arrives Downtown at 8 a.m. Return trips leave Downtown at 3:45 p.m. and 5:20 p.m.

Declining ridership has plagued the Carmel service since IndyGo started it using federal grant money in 2008. That year, Indy Express logged 69,053 riders, compared with 26,800 in 2013.
