Police were called just before 12:30 p.m. about a reckless driver, driving in the wrong direction in the area of Lone Star and Highway 287.

Mansfield Asst. Police Chief Travis Waybourn told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram that at least one officer returned fire during the pursuit but that no officers fired shots at the scene of the crash. Two officers also crashed their vehicles but were uninjured, according to reports.

The chase came to an end at Highway 360 and East Broad Street in Mansfield. There is a large police presence in the area.
