The new design is a profile of a Spartan soldier with a silhouette of its face. The previous logo had more of a detailed and front-facing view of the soldier’s face.

But in its tight design, fluid combat and generally excellent animation, the new game maintains God of War’s role as one of the definitive action-game franchises.
