The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board has approved the resumption of operations of 980 UV Express units in Metro Manila and nearby provinces starting tomorrow.

A group has asked a local court to temporarily stop the implementation of point-to-point service for UV express units.

In the new MC, LTFRB said that the point-to-point service for UV Express is “not new,” citing MC No. 2005-023 and the Public Utility Vehicle (PUV) Modernization Program ordering the same policy.
