The new musical Redwood, starring Idina Menzel, had a strong start last week, bringing in close to $400,000 across its first two preview performances. The musical, which marks Menzel's first return to Broadway since starring in the 2014-2015 musical If/Then,

The annual winter Broadway Week 2-for-1 ticket promotion – it’s actually several weeks, but no one’s complaining – arrived January 21, and as usual the promotion took a bite into grosses, with total attendance holding steady from the previous week but receipts dropping 11%.
