It's not as big as an Olympic hockey tournament, but national pride will be on the line during the 4 Nations Face-Off.

The 4 Nations Face-Off starts Wednesday and features all-star talent while the NHL takes a two-week break. The tournament will showcase some of the best players from Canada, Finland, Sweden and the USA.

The NHL and NHLPA’s 4 Nations Face-Off is upon us. The tournament, which replaces the normal All-Star game, is a chance for NHL players to audition and get a tune-up before heading to the Winter Olympics in 2026 for the first time since 2014.

The format of the 4 Nations Face-Off will see each of the four teams play each other once in a round-robin, starting with Canada playing Sweden at Bell Centre in Montreal on Tuesday (8 p.m. ET; MAX, truTV, TNT, SN, TVAS). The U.S. and Finland play in Montreal on Wednesday (8 p.m. ET; ESPN, ESPN+, SN, TVAS).
