Twice in three races Max Verstappen was caught out by a rival's braking behind the Safety Car, but only one was punished.

McLaren team principal Andrea Stella says he has no issues with Oscar Piastri 's request to consider team orders after his Formula 1 British Grand Prix penalty.

After re-emerging behind Norris, Piastri made a cheeky suggestion to McLaren over team radio, saying: "I don't think the penalty before was very fair. I know it's a big question, but if you don't think it was fair either, I think we should swap back and race.”
