Shubman Gill faced another batting failure as he got out on an eight-ball duck in the IND vs BAN 1st Test which ignited widespread social media criticism on his struggles in Test cricket.

Shubman Gill joined Virat Kohli in an unwanted ducks list with his failure on day one of the Chennai Test against Bangladesh on Thursday, September 19. Gill was dismissed for an 8-ball duck at the Chepauk as he didn't look comfortable at all during the knock.

After Shubman Gill was dismissed for a 8-ball duck in the first innings of the first Test against Bangladesh at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The delivery from Hasan Mahmud was going down the leg side when Shubman Gill poked it straight into the hands of wicket-keeper Litton Das.

It was an unusual dismissal as the ball was sliding down the leg side but Shubman Gill managed to get an edge to it.
