Various cyclists were knocked off their bikes in a crash during the seventh stage of the 2025 Tour de France.

Defending Tour de France champion Tadej Pogacar won Stage 7 after a frantic finish on Friday to reclaim the yellow jersey and overall lead in 2025.

Pogačar is the overwhelming favorite to win a fourth Tour title and has been the best rider since the start of the Tour last weekend.

Pogacar was happy to cruise around the peloton and stay safe on stage eight and still leads the general classification by 54 seconds from Remco Evenepoel, with Frenchman Kevin Vauquelin a further 17 seconds down and Jonas Vingegaard 1:17 adrift of his big rival.

Tadej Pogačar remains the -550 favorite to win the 2025 Tour de France after Stage 6 on Thursday, but the competition remains stiff up front where Mathieu van der Peul (+49000) reclaimed the yellow jersey as overall leader, one second ahead of the three-time champion.

Four-time overall winner Anna Van der Breggen (Team SD Worx-Protime) is also in the running, positioned third place overall at 1:53. Further back are Pauliena Rooijakkers (Fenix-Deceuninck) at 2:02 and Katrine Aalerud (Uno-X Mobility) at 2:07.
