30 people lost their lives and 60 were injured in a stampede at the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj during the holy dip on Mauni Amavasiya. Among the victims were 8 women from Bihar, one of whom regretted attending the event. The chaos and disorganization at the ghat led to the tragedy. Families of the victims are grieving.
