The French and Indian War's 1755 Battle of Lake George will be re-enacted Sept. 22-24, 2023, in a free event featuring 250 costumed interpreters of history.

Museum investigators have so far determined the remains belonged to at least 44 individuals, several of whom were likely Continental Army soldiers.
