Developed by Eden Games, 2008’s Alone in the Dark was panned by critics, prompting backlash from then-publisher Atari. It only sold a little over one million copies.

Then again, there’s a reason why the game is titled Alone in the Dark and not Together in the Dark. The inevitable comparisons to the aforementioned Resident Evil remakes are hard to ignore.
