VE Day post box topper stolen, knitters say - MSNA postbox topper created to celebrate the 80th anniversary of VE Day has been stolen, a group of knitters have said.
The knitted oxen were displayed on a post box outside of the Post Office on The Broadway, in Didcot. Rachel Crook made the topper as part of a fundraising scheme for Oxford-based hospice Sobell House.
Julie Knowles from Rushden, Northamptonshire, has made a post box topper which she has been updating with each day's medal haul. She has now created 189 medals to match the total won in both events.
